By Cameron Paxton, Director Of Sales, Toyota Material Handling Australia
Last month I was delighted to be able to advise the recent launch of new range of mini excavators and scissor lifts, to join our existing line up of skid steers loaders, and form our newly consolidated Huski Construction Equipment (HCE) range of products.
HCE products are easily identifiable by its distinctive blue logos and livery as opposed to our comprehensive material handling equipment range, which are distinguished by sporting TMHA’s traditional orange colour.
Whilst the Huski skid steer loader range has been entrenched in many Australian businesses for over thirty years, the complementary mini excavators and scissor lifts are recent additions to the Huski range. It fantastic to see them already being so well received by customers, and a testament to Huski’s famous quality that they are being taken up so readily.
One of the most recent to take up the new Huski mini excavator range is a long term Toyota skid steer loader customer. MD Industries, a fast-growing electrical contracting business based in the Hills District of Dural, NSW, has added a new M-16U Huski Construction Equipment mini excavator to its fleet – a purchase based on the impressive performance of its longstanding Toyota 5SDK5 Huski skid steer loader.
Matt De Bono is the MD Industries director and project manager who started his electrical trade 20 years ago and self-started his current business 15 years ago.
Existing owners of a Huski 5SDK5 skid steer, Matt decided on a Huski excavator as the MD Industries team work around Australia and needed a compact unit to follow in tow due to not always being able to hire while travelling. Apart from legendary Huski quality and reliability, Matt also takes comfort in knowing if the situation requires Toyota Material Handling’s 300+ mobile service vans are only a phone call away.
It’s great to see such fantastic acceptance of new products within the Huski Construction Equipment range, and I would personally like to thank Matt for his continued trust in our range of quality products.
For more information on the new Huski Construction Equipment range please call us on 1800 425 438 or contact one of our Toyota Material Handling branches who will be able to assist with your enquiry.
MD Industries' Matt De Bono said the 1.6 tonne Huski mini excavator's excellent break-out force for its size was key to its utility and transportability.
