At Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA), we always strive to offer the best to our customers, and that feeling also extends to our highly valued team members.
That is one of the reasons why we’ve begun construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art branch that will be the home of our Victorian operations, which I’m delighted to now be able to provide more information on.
Located in Dandenong South in the southeast suburbs of Melbourne, our incredible new facility is located only 5km away from the existing branch on Abbotts Rd, but with some seriously impressive upgrades.
The building area itself will measure 16,350m2, marking a 34 percent increase in size over the current facility.
More than that, the new facility sits on approximately 32,600m2 of land – 81 per cent bigger than the Abbotts Rd site, which we’re thrilled to say is owned wholly by Toyota.
The new facility will offer some truly exciting new features, including the 12,827m2 warehouse and workshop area, and a brand-new ‘dirt’ demonstration area which will allow for prospective HUSKI customers to come in and demo the earthmoving equipment in real-world conditions.
Our new branch will also offer state-of-the-art sealed and pressurised paint and preparation booths, providing further benefits for our customers.
Not only constructed to facilitate the sale and rental of Toyota forklifts and allied equipment, our new home will also serve as a regional base for major and corporate accounts operations.
It will also hold inventories of new material handling and Huski construction equipment, while offering full support coverage for parts, workshop and field service.
It will even have inhouse training facilities to ensure our staff have as much product knowledge as possible.
We anticipate the construction of our new Victorian home base will be completed in the first quarter of next year, and staff couldn’t be more excited to move in once it’s ready.
Our new branch shows the investment Toyota Material Handling is making in its Australian operations, and we look forward to sharing more about our new branch once it’s completed.
