An award-winning builders' equipment hire company has extended its 10-year association with the Toyota Huski brand by commissioning its two new Huski skid-steer loaders.
Able Hire commissioned the two machines in March at its impressive facility in Kirrawee, Sydney.
The 320kg operating load 4SDK4 and 650kg operating load models are the fifth and sixth Toyota Huskis Able Hire has owned in the last decade.
Company Director Jeff Bell said the latest machines continue the Toyota tradition of producing tough, reliable and easy to operate skid-steer loaders.
"We changed brands ten years ago, when our skid-steer supplier changed franchises," he said.
"We had a large Toyota machine to begin with and that proved to be a great machine, better than the previous brand.
"Then we added a smaller 320kg operating load model and that was an even bigger improvement over what we'd previously had on the fleet."
Jeff Bell said Able Hire will next year celebrate a quarter of a century in the builders' equipment and truck hire business.
He co-owns the business with his brother Paul.
"We won the Hire and Rental Industry Association (HRIA) national rental company of the year award in 2008," he said.
Jeff Bell said Able Hire operated three rental outlets until three years ago, when it consolidated into one brand new facility in Kirrawee.
"We hire throughout Sydney with a full range of builders' equipment, cheery pickers, tip trucks and removal trucks," he said.
Toyota Material Handling offers a comprehensive range of six Huski skid steer loaders nationally, from the 4SDK4 to the 900kg operating load 5SDK11 - the largest model in Toyota's recently released 5SDK skid steer loader range.
