Toyota Genuine forklift parts have topped a major annual survey of North American materials handling industry decision-makers in all four categories surveyed.
The 2013 Lift Truck Parts Study by the Peerless Research Group rated Toyota Genuine Parts highest in terms of reliability, durability, quality and as the best value for money.
Peerless Research Group is a division of Peerless Media, which produces industry-leading publications and websites, including Modern Materials Handling, Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management Review and Material Handling Product News for the supply chain, logistics and materials handling markets.
The Lift Parts Study gauges what material handling professionals consider as the most important attributes for forklift truck parts purchases and which brands of forklift truck accessories lead in these key areas.
Toyota Material Handling Australia executive vice president and COO Steve Takacs said the Peerless survey was further proof of Toyota's worldwide commitment to quality, durability and reliability in its industrial equipment.

The Peerless study collected responses from more than 300 industry decision-makers, readers of Modern Materials Handling magazine, involved in the purchasing of material handling equipment, products, technologies and services.
The majority of those surveyed are plant managers, distribution centre and warehouse managers, and corporate managers within manufacturing and distribution facilities across a wide range of businesses and industries, including automotive, food and beverage, machinery and wholesale trade.
Respondents' comments regarding Toyota forklift truck parts included: "Our Toyota never has downtime, it just keeps on going." "While being in business with Toyota the majority of our lives, our repairs have decreased and our operator satisfaction has increased." "Toyota parts offer the best overall package, from ordering to delivery to installation to longevity."
Toyota's North American forklift operation, Toyota Material Handling USA Inc (TMHU), began more than 45 years ago and has been the number one brand since 2002.
It has built nearly 450,000 Toyota forklifts since commencing North American manufacture in 1990.
