A thriving earthmoving equipment hire business has commissioned its first Toyota Huski skid-steer loader after using another brand for the last six years.
Bay 2 Bay Rental, based in Hastings on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula, bought the compact 320kg operating load Toyota Huski 4SDK4 skid-steer loader in November 2016 to meet the needs of a wide range of users.
Toyota Material Handling Australia’s (TMHA) Melbourne branch delivered the skid steer loader fitted with a 4-in-1 bucket.
Bay 2 Bay Rental company director Daniel Harvey said the Toyota Huski skid-steer loader offered a range of benefits for his clients and his business.
“For our clients, it is easy to use and move around, with excellent safety and good visibility through the rear window,” he said.
“We rent it as a package with a dedicated trailer to landscape gardeners, DIY users, home renovators and concreters.
“As a machine for hire use, it is a better-built, reliable loader, with a north-south engine layout and direct-drive hydraulic pumps running off the engine block rather than via belts. In addition, we specified a quality, Australian-made 4-in-1 bucket.”
Daniel Harvey bought the new Toyota Huski through TMHA area sales manager – skid steer, Thomas Machar.
“I’ve been dealing with Tom since I opened Bay 2 Bay Rental and he knows exactly what equipment and support we need to grow the business,” he said.
“We hire to clients on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs and metropolitan Melbourne as well; we don’t limit ourselves geographically, we go where we need to go.”
Thomas Machar said the rental Industry is an ideal application to showcase the quality, durability and reliability of Toyota Huski skid-steer loaders.
“Equipment hire is a tough application, so you need the best equipment that is reliable and profitable,” he said.
“The Toyota Huski range provides purchasers with a reliable machine with low running costs for the duration of their ownership and fantastic resale value.”
Toyota Material Handling offers a comprehensive range of Huski skid-steer loaders, from the compact 4SDK4 to the powerful 5SDK11.
The 4SDK4 skid-steer loader is ideal for limited-access applications, and can be set up at widths of either 900mm or 1050mm which is perfect for modern urban worksites.
