Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) has further expanded its product range with the Huski SV-E “Skytower” range of compact, self-propelled scissor-lift work platforms.
TMHA will launch five new Huski scissor lift models on May 30-31 at the Hire18 show in the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, where the company is a gold sponsor with a 108 square-metre stand.
The Huski SV-E Skytower series consists of easy to use, compact wheel-type scissor-lift work platforms, with a maximum working height of 9.68 metres and maximum load capacity of 450kg.
TMHA’s general manager, corporate compliance and project development, Bob Walmsley, said the new Huski scissor-lift range will complement the company’s current range of centre-mast work platforms.
“With Huski scissor lifts and elevated work platforms we can now offer work platforms for the full range of applications,” he said. “The elevated work platforms have for working heights up to 4.6 metres and the Huski scissor lift platforms range from 5.72m to 9.68m.
“Backing these new work platforms will be TMHA’s full product-support capability, with our nation-wide branch network, huge fleet of mobile service vans and the best-trained service technicians in the material-handling industry.”
First to arrive will be the 5.72m height SV06ENS, 6.10m SV06ENL, 7.77m SV08ENL, 7.92m SV08EWL and 9.68m SV10EWL.
Bob Walmsley said the Huski scissor lifts have both indoor and outdoor ratings (except SVO8E1NL) for worksites, including building fit-out, maintenance tasks and painting.
“Features include a sliding extension deck, AC drive motor to ensure long operation times, joy-stick type upper control steering switch and a lower control panel on the chassis,” he said.
Continual improvements to the SV-E series design have increased accessibility, ease of use and package efficiency.
The latest designs have the lowest floor height in the segment and a lower overall height than the previous model – for greater ease in climbing onto the platform.
The battery for these electrically powered platforms is maintenance-free – it does not require refilling of the water.
