TMHA are proud to announce that is has won the 28th Annual National Safety Award of Excellence for Best Solution of a WHS Risk (Large Business) with our TMHA Tyne lifter. The NSCA awards recognise the efforts of organisations who actively promote a safety culture within their operations, with our winning TMHA Tyne lifter representing a lifting solution which has eliminated manual handling risks associated with removing Tyne’s from the carriage of forklifts.
To win this award emphasises the strength of empowerment and trust in our people, as our Annual Safety Solution Competition (Safety Tank) initiative provided a positive platform for our employees who are doing the job every day to tap into their skills and knowledge to develop innovative solutions to eliminate or significantly reduce safety risks.
Without the courage and motivation of David Roberts (Technician, Perth) who developed the Tyne lifter as part of the competition and all other 17 submissions in our first year of safety tank, TMHA would not be celebrating such a remarkable achievement.
