Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) celebrated a day of horse racing, food and fashions with customers, suppliers and corporate partners at the TAB Everest Day, held at Royal Randwick Racecourse on 14th October 2023.
Hosted by TV personality Kerri-Anne Kennerley, the event featured over 360 TMHA guests who celebrated the day in style inside the bespoke Toyota Forklifts Legends Enclosure, a 450sqm glass walled structure comprising indoor and outdoor spaces.
Noteable attendees included current and former stars including NRL legends Ricky Stuart, Bradley Clyde and David Furner, along with current Canberra Raiders NRL players Jarrod Croker, Jordan Rapana, and Nick Cotric.
A highlight of the day was a Q and A session with renowned horse trainer Bjorn Baker who also had a horse running at the TAB Everest in race seven (Overpass).
Guests also were entertained by ARIA Hall Of Fame Inductee Daryl Braithwaite who thrilled guests with a 30 minute live set accompanied by a four piece band, including a special performance of his number one Australian hit "Horses".
The event was also significant as a fund-raising activity whereby TMHA matched all guests winnings in the form of a donation to Melanoma Institute Australia, to a maximum of $100,000.
President and CEO of TMHA Steve Takacs said that he was thrilled to be able to enjoy such a special day amongst TMHA staff, customers, suppliers and corporate partners.

TMHA was also on hand to crown the winner of race number four which was the Toyota Forklifts Gloaming Stakes, won by NZ horse Raf Attack.
