Toyota Forklifts Lift Support For Pye at Sandown, Bathurst and Adelaide

Team 18 have announced the return of Toyota Material Handling Australia and its Toyota Forklifts brand as title partner on Scott Pye and Warren Luff’s #20 Toyota Forklifts Team 18 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for the Sandown 500 and the Bathurst 1000, as well as the season-ending Adelaide 500.

This deal marks the return of Toyota Forklifts, a decade-long partner of Team 18, as the major backer for Pye’s Camaro for the second time this year, after he represented the brand at the Perth SuperSprint in April.

A global-leader in the material handlings sector, Toyota Forklifts are proud to partner with the team for three of the most prestigious events on the Australian motorsport calendar.

Pye and Luff will race with the same livery that graced the Perth round, with Toyota Forklifts carrying major branding on the doors and bonnet, with additional support from TMHA’s Huski Construction Equipment on the rear quarter panel.

Currently positioned 13th in the championship standings, Pye has his sights set on breaking into the top ten during the final four events of the season, which include Sandown, Bathurst, Gold Coast, and Adelaide.

For the endurance races, Pye will be joined by the seasoned co-driver Warren Luff. The action is set to kick off with practice sessions this Friday, leading up to the Sandown 500 on September 17. Fans can catch all of the weekend’s action live on Fox Sports and Kayo.
