Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA), via their Toyota Forklifts brand, have extended their commitment to the Canberra Raiders as Principal Partner for a further two seasons, with their brand to remain on the front and top of back of the Raiders jersey until the end of the 2025 season.
The extended partnership will see Toyota Forklifts continue their tenure with the club as Principal Partner into a fourth and fifth season, since joining the Raiders family in 2021.
The Principal Partnership extension by Toyota Forklifts provides the Raiders with some reassurance and certainty as they move out of a period affected by Covid pandemic restrictions.
The Partnership between Toyota Forklifts and the Raiders is more than just a logo on a jersey, with the two working together on several off-field initiatives since the partnership began, including recognition of Toyota Forklifts female staff on the Raiders women in league jersey, helping to facilitate NRL players to gain their forklift licences and employing junior Raiders players as apprentices to help them with their career pathways. Additionally, initiatives between the Club and TMHA offices around the country have and will continue to be leveraged for mutual benefit.
President and CEO of Toyota Material Handling Australia Steve Takacs said “TMHA via its Toyota Forklifts brand is excited to extend its relationship with the Green Machine as principal partner to 2025. We look forward to lifting the Raiders both on and off the field in the coming seasons and helping to deliver successful outcomes for this highly respected and renowned Club."
Raiders CEO Don Furner said the extended partnership between the Raiders and Toyota Forklifts was exciting for the club and looked forward to the continued work between the organisations.
“Toyota Forklifts and the Raiders are two organisations that share similar values and we’ve seen our relationship grow and expand since they joined us in 2021,” Furner said. “The Raiders are proud to run out with their logo on the front and back of our jerseys and we are delighted that they have agreed to extend their commitment as Principal Partner for another two years.
“We look forward to continuing to work with them on shared objectives and helping each other to obtain continued success in football and in business.”
