Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) showcased its automated Toyota SAE160 stacker Autopilot stacker and CDI120 automated horizonal pallet carrier at the 2024 CeMAT Australia Show held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 23 to 25 July.
CeMAT is one of Australia’s leading trade shows for Intralogistics, Robotics and Automation, Warehousing, Supply Chain Management and Materials Handling.
The autonomous (driverless) SAE stacker forklift and the CDI120 automated horizontal pallet carrier was on display at TMHA's stand, receiving a large amount of attendee interest.
Based on a standard forklift design with a fully integrated navigation and safety system the Toyota Staxio SAE160 Automatic Guided Vehicle attains all the reliability and serviceability as with the manual version and inherits all the added benefits of an automated vehicle.
It integrates with warehouse management systems to operate according to a customer's unique requirements. It uses a laser-based navigation system and complex range of sensors to safely and accurately handle materials, automatically.
The Toyota SAE range of autonomous material handling equipment is designed and manufactured by Toyota Material Handling Europe, with programming and installation performed locally by TMHA engineers.
Also on display was Toyota's recently released CDI120 pallet carrier designed for cost efficient horizontal transport of single pallets, supporting the shift to forkless handling in populated areas.
The CDI120 can be integrated in a manual operation or with Toyota's Autopilot products to operate in a fully automated system.
A Toyota 8FBE 1.8 tonne battery electric forklift along with a Toyota RRE160H reach forklift completed the TMHA products on display.
